Did you wonder who the Player To Be Named Later was going to be in the Adrian Gonzalez Padres deal?
Well…wonder no more. It is Eric Patterson. Patterson who spent some time in our outfield in 2010…because we had the most injured outfield ever…is headed to San Diego. I liked Patterson. He’s nice and all…but I don’t really think this is a loss at all for the Sox. We have enough back up outfielders to choose from…Bill Hall…Mike Cameron…Daniel Nava….Darnell MacDonald…Ryan Kalish. Need I go on?
