ESPN coverage of Ravens Game

Accuscore favors Indy by 57% to 43%

The Ravens secondary is one of the worse in the league and while the team is fairly good at limiting teams to field goals in the Red Zone, Peyton Manning is expected to pick the defense apart. There is a 66 percent chance that Manning has at least 2 passing TDs and he is averaging 290 yards per simulation. The Ravens need to limit Manning to no more than 1 TD and Ray Rice needs to have a huge game with at least 125 rushing and receiving yards. If Rice can dominate and the Ravens can keep Manning to just 1 TD they are 74 percent favorites.

Scouts inc has their say

9. Matchup to watch: Colts LT Charlie Johnson vs. Ravens RDE/ROLB Terrell Suggs: Johnson is not a high end starting left tackle. When looking at him one on one with Suggs, it is a matchup that very much favors Baltimore in the run and pass game.

10. Matchup to watch: Ravens LT Jared Gaither vs. Colts RDE Dwight Freeney While quiet against the Pats, Freeney is an elite pass-rusher. He also uses his short stature extremely well against taller tackles like Gaither, who is quite talented in his own right and an up and comer. Obviously the matchup on the opposite side — Michael Oher vs. Robert Mathis — could be every bit as important and getting help for both tackles on the same passing play is a difficult chore. Mathis was terrific last week.
