Summary: Coach John Tortorella is getting lots of production out of young players such as Derek Stepan and Brian Boyle. Marian Gaborik, when healthy, remains one of the elite players in the NHL. But the reason the Rangers are going to stay in the playoff bracket is that they work hard pretty much every night. Goalie Henrik Lundqvist has had an up-and-down first quarter and will need to provide more consistent play as the season moves along.
…i usually don’t agree with ESPM too much, but they’re dead on with this assessment.
…refreshing to hear the Rangers being called a hard working team.
