ESPN’s Trey Wingo calls our coach “Radio Raheem” !

Outrage should be across Tampa Bay folks. I watched the ESPN Primetime show so I could see our Bucs put that beat down on the Cardinals….and couldn’t believe my ears when I heard it… This is the kind of garbage I tried to get rid of in posts on the internet, and we have to hear Trey Wingo say this? on ESPN? Listen, As soon as the video goes to Raheem’s picture…

It was about a mentally challenged african american male and the movie centered around football. Last year during the outrage fans felt from a 3-13 season, Buccaneer Message boards were filled with idiot fans who called Raheem this. Most boards like Buccaneers.com, the Bucs UK site www.Bucpower.com and the one I was running at the time would not allow such comments. To be fair, Spike Lee’s movie “Do the right thing” has a character named Radio Raheem, but this character is not something Raheem Morris would be proud of being called either. Do you think its ok to call someone a common nickname if the referenced material is not a positive one, but is in fact negative? Either reference is inappropriate and deserves an apology from Wingo. Raheem Morris has the Bucs at 5-2, a team full of rookies and undrafted free agents. Obviously the record is a reflection of the coaching job Morris is doing. What do you think? Are you outraged? Do you care? Is it offensive?
