The Red Sox gave the Royals some cash a a player to be named later for Tug Hulett today. Hulett has played 45 games in the majors in the last 2 years (15 last season). He had 2 hits in 15 AB’s last season and struck out 6 times. He also made 2 errors on one play in a minor league game in 2007. Before playing for the Royals Hulett was part of the Marinerz organization where he showed some promise in their minor league system. Tug’s father Tim played for the White Sox, Orioles and Cardinals.
