By most accounts, LeBron James is 6-8, 270 lbs. Jason Terry is a modest 6-2, 180 lbs. I would expect James to dunk over Terry 100 out of 100 times.

So… why the hell is the NBA blogosphere still buzzing about James’ dunk from last night?

I thought we saw the end of this silliness when Yahoo’s Adrian Wojnarowski lauded Brandon Knight for challenging this DeAndre Jordan highlight dunk.

Alas, I was wrong.

Terry was proclaimed dead on Wikipedia.

Bulls guard and eternal juvenile Nate Robinson tweeted silly funeral photos.

Deadspin published a clip of the dunk along with an audio track of wrestling announcer Jim Ross.

Save the lather for when little guys dunk on big guys.

Remember Michael Jordan posterizing Patrick Ewing? Or John Starks vicious throwdown on Horace Grant and MJ?

Those were dunks worthy of mockery.
