Fantasy Football Start And Sit – Week Fifteen

-7

RECORD LAST WEEK: 14-6

OVERALL: 138-90-3

Arizona at St. Louis

Start: St. Louis Defense

Arizona is in a funk with Drew Stanton, and while they rallied versus the other Missouri team, the Rams defense has been fantastic with seven sacks versus Washington.

Sit: Kerwynn Williams, RB, ARZ

Williams had a good first showing replacing Andre Ellington, who is lost for the season, but the Rams have been oppressive to opposing running backs.

Pittsburgh at Atlanta

Start: Ben Roethlisberger, QB, PIT

While the Fantasy praises are being piled onto Le’Veon Bell, Bell’s success running the ball gives the Pittsburgh passing offense a lot of leeway to do a lot of damage, especially against the worst pass defense in the NFL.

Sit:  Steven Jackson, RB, ATL

He has gotten on track as of late, but remember that this is not the same player from a few years ago.  Relying on him in the Fantasy playoffs should be a desperation move only.

Washington at New York (N)

Start: Giants Defense

Washington looked absolutely abysmal versus St. Louis, accumulating just 206 yards of offense.  With the Giants now focused on controlling the clock and utilizing their running game, the Redskins will have another slow day.

Sit: Any Redskin Quarterback

Colt McCoy and Robert Griffin combined for a 17.1 QBR on Sunday.  I did not know that could happen.

Miami at New England

Start: Tom Brady, QB, NE

The Patriots want to stay one step ahead of the Broncos for home field advantage.  Brady is nothing if not consistent, the consistency wins Fantasy titles.

Sit: Ryan Tannehill, QB, MIA

Tannehill is also consistent, but very touchdown hungry as he does not accumulate a lot of yardage.  That might not be enough this week.

Oakland at Kansas City

Start: Jamaal Charles, RB, KC

He only got ten touches on Sunday, which seems unthinkable.  He still managed 91 yards (most of them on a 63-yard scamper), and should see more work this week.

Sit: Derek Carr, QB, OAK

Some may see the dynamo that outplayed Colin Kaepernick in the Bay Area Brawl last Sunday.  I see the player who combined for three touchdowns and four interceptions over his previous four games.

Houston at Indianapolis

Start: T.Y. Hilton, WR, IND

The Colts running game is dead as a doornail.  Andrew Luck will carry this team, and he transitions that load onto Hilton, who he targeted 19 times on Sunday.

Sit: DeAndre Hopkins, WR, HOU

Last week showed what happens when Ryan Fitzpatrick cools off.  Arian Foster is the majority of the Houston offense, not the exception.  Hopkins wins when his quarterback is reliable, and that is not Fitzpatrick.

Jacksonville at Baltimore

Start: Joe Flacco, QB, BAL

While the Ravens running game looks good, Bernard Pierce had a solid night, and could take more carries away from Justin Forsett.  Flacco has been solid over the last month, and faces a below average Jacksonville defense.

Sit: Cecil Shorts III, WR, JAX

Shorts has been targeted 18 times in two weeks.  He has caught six of them, more of an issue with Blake Bortles than Shorts.  Stay away from this.

Cincinnati at Cleveland

Start: A.J. Green, WR, CIN

Right when I thought Andy Dalton had cooled off, he remembered he has one of the best wideouts in the NFL, and both Dalton and Green profited, stats wise.  If Green is back to full strength, which it appears he is, than Green is a must-start.

Sit: Andrew Hawkins, WR, CLE

No one on the Browns offense has value right now except for Josh Gordon, and even he had a bad night against the Colts.  Hawkins is the number two option for a QB who has thrown one touchdown and eight interceptions in his last five games.

San Francisco at Seattle

Start: Seattle Defense

Both Frank Gore and Colin Kaepernick looked terrible against a sub-par Oakland team.  How are they going to look in Seattle against a defense that brutalized the Eagles on Sunday?

Sit: Colin Kaepernick, QB, SF

He would like nothing more than to shut up the always chatty Seahawks defense.  I do not like his chances.
