Fantasy Football Start And Sit – Week Nine

parksandrecminipony1dsb

RECORD LAST WEEK: 15-5

OVERALL: 82-55-1

New Orleans at Carolina

Start: Kelvin Benjamin, WR, CAR

The Saints have the second worst pass defense, opening a terrific opportunity for Benjamin to cut loose.

Sit: Brandin Cooks, WR, NO

While his performance last week was encouraging, Brees spreads the ball around so much that relying on Cooks any week is a gamble.

Tampa Bay at Cleveland

Start: Brian Hoyer, QB, CLE

While Hoyer is not a long-term solution, he is a solid start this week with Andrew Hawkins as a surprise weapon.

Sit:  Doug Martin/Bobby Rainey/Charles Sims, RB, TB

The running situation is a mess for the Buccaneers right now, and carries will be spread thin.

Arizona at Dallas

Start: Tony Romo, QB, DAL

If he is able to play, Romo will have a field day against the worst pass defense in the league.

Sit:  Carson Palmer, QB, ARZ

The Dallas defense has been surprisingly effective at limiting opposing passers, making Palmer a bad choice this week.

Philadelphia at Houston

Start: LeSean McCoy, RB, PHI

McCoy will be the best hope for the Eagles to limit J.J. Watt’s impact on defense.

Sit: Ryan Fitzpatrick, QB, HOU

Despite having a fantastic offense around him, Fitzpatrick is still a below-average starter, especially this week.

New York (A) at Kansas City

Start: Chiefs Defense

Michael Vick is a shell of his former self.  Expect a couple turnovers at minimum

Sit: Chris Johnson, RB, NYJ

The Jets will try and use play-action to give Vick opportunities to use his legs, but with Vick’s questionable performance, Johnson will be limited.

Jacksonville at Cincinnati

Start: Denard Robinson, RB, JAX

The Bengals have the third-worst run defense, and Robinson has been strong thus far.

Sit: Jermaine Gresham, TE, CIN

Gresham has been affected most by A.J. Green’s absence, so expect him to be limited.

San Diego at Miami

Start: Branden Oliver, RB, SD

Oliver has good matchup against Miami, who have allowed over 100 yards rushing to every team they have faced in the last three weeks.

Sit: Ryan Tannehill, QB, MIA

The Chargers have the sixth-best pass defense, and the Chargers will try and grind the Dolphins out of the game.

Washington at Minnesota

Start: Vikings Defense

The Vikings have shown life over the last few weeks.  A returning RG3 cannot hurt their chances.

Sit: Robert Griffin III, QB, WSH

This is a good test for RG3 coming off his injury.  I am not convinced he is 100%.

Oakland at Seattle

Start: Marshawn Lynch, RB, SEA

Oakland has a bottom-6 run defense, giving Lynch plenty of room to explode.

Sit: Andre Holmes, WR, OAK

Holmes has been strong against weak defenses, and weak against strong defenses.  The Seahawks fall into the latter category.
