Fantasy Football Start And Sit – Week Seven

miniponykidminiponybarb

RECORD LAST WEEK: 13-7

OVERALL: 56-41-1

New York (A) at New England

Start: Rob Gronkowski, TE, NE

Gronk is finally back to “must start” status.  Considering the few weapons the Patriots have to work with, Brady’s favorite target will see plenty of action.

Sit: Geno Smith, QB, NYJ

While he could have been worse last week, he could have been a lot better too.  Stay away.

Miami at Chicago

Start: Brandon Marshall, WR, CHI

Both Marshall and Alshon Jeffrey are coming off a big win, and you know Marshall would like some words with his former squad.

Sit: Mike Wallace, WR, MIA

Matched up against either Tim Jennings or rookie sensation Kyle Fuller will be a bad week for Wallace.

Atlanta at Baltimore

Start: Julio Jones, WR, ATL

You really think Jones is going to have bad weeks back-to-back?  His owners hope he is not reverting to bad habits.

Sit: Justin Forsett, RB, BAL

He has been a fantasy surprise thus far, but it is doubtful Joe Flacco is going to throw five touchdowns in one half again.

Tennessee at Washington

Start: Kirk Cousins, QB, WSH

While Cousins may throw a bunch of interceptions each week, he does give a high volume of yards as well.

Sit: Tennessee Defense

This defense just gave up almost 400 yards to Jacksonville.  No thank you.

Seattle at St. Louis

Start: Marshawn Lynch, RB, SEA

If Lynch does not get violent against the Rams after that loss last Sunday, I will eat my hat.

Sit: Tavon Austin, WR, STL

He may never be used to his fullest potential in St. Louis.

Cleveland at Jacksonville

Start: Brian Hoyer, QB, CLE

The Jaguars held Charlie Whitehurst in check.  That does not mean much.  Ride the hot hand.

Sit: Blake Bortles, QB, JAX

His career is actually off to a good start (better than Blaine Gabbert’s but that is not saying much).  However, this defense is better than the last one he faced.

Cincinnati at Indianapolis

Start: Andrew Luck, QB, IND

This will be a shootout, and Luck has the best chance to put up the best numbers.

Sit: Giovani Bernard, RB, CIN

Dalton and Luck will decide this game.  Bernard may not get the carries.

Minnesota at Buffalo

Start: Buffalo Defense

They have a real chance to do some real damage this week, especially after Teddy Bridgewater’s awful game.

Sit: Matt Asiata, RB, MIN

Facing the best run defense in the league, Asiata may find himself losing his job completely to Jerick McKinnon.

New Orleans at Detroit

Start: Brandin Cooks, WR, NO

Look for this to be the week Cooks breaks out with the Saints running game in flux.

Sit: Golden Tate, WR, DET

Calvin Johnson will miss the game again, so the Saints will look to key in on Detroit’s next best option.

Carolina at Green Bay

Start: Eddie Lacy, RB, GB

If Rodgers gets hot, this game could be over in a hurry, meaning a lot of carries for Lacy.

Sit: Cam Newton, QB, CAR

With the Panthers running game depleted on an entirely new scale, Newton finds himself in a bad situation at Lambeau.
