Fantasy Football Start And Sit – Week Ten

pettingzoominiponymattcharles2

RECORD LAST WEEK: 9-8-1

OVERALL: 91-63-2

Cleveland at Cincinnati

Start: Andy Dalton, QB, CIN

Now that A.J. Green is healthy enough to see the field for more than 40 snaps, Dalton’s numbers will start picking up as well.

Sit: Taylor Gabriel, WR, CLE

Andrew Hawkins is a game-time decision, leaving Gabriel as the leading receiver for Brian Hoyer.  That spells doom for his prospects.

Kansas City at Buffalo

Start: Jamaal Charles, RB, KC

He is healthy again, so ride Charles while you can.  Buffalo has a top-10 run defense, but most of their opponents have been lousy running against everyone (Chicago, Miami, New York Jets).

Sit: Sammy Watkins, WR, BUF

Kansas City has the number one pass defense, and that includes games against New England and Denver.  The Bills passing game will have rough going on Sunday.

Miami at Detroit

Start: Ryan Tannehill, QB, MIA

I was wrong to doubt him last week.  He shredded the Chargers, and should do well in Detroit.

Sit: Reggie Bush, Joique Bell, Theo Riddick, RB, DET

Another three-headed running back crew.  Not that any running attack is great in Detroit as long as Matthew Stafford continues to be the rifleman.

Dallas at Jacksonville

Start: DeMarco Murray, RB, DAL

Romo or Weeden does not matter, Murray is the consistent performer on this team.

Sit: Blake Bortles, QB, JAX

Bortles has been a strict upgrade over the Blaine Gabbert era, but even against a mid-tier Dallas defense, Bortles simply does not have the weapons in the passing game to be successful.

San Francisco at New Orleans

Start: Mark Ingram, RB, NO

Ingram has become a terrific feature back for the Saints now that he is healthy, and the domed surface in New Orleans can only help his numbers.

Sit: Frank Gore, RB, SF

Carlos Hyde continues to take carries away from him, and Gore has struggled in all but two games.

Tennessee at Baltimore

Start: Joe Flacco, QB, BAL

While Flacco has been aggravatingly hit-and-miss, he is due for another game like against Tampa Bay and Carolina where he rips apart the opposing defense.

Sit: Justin Hunter, WR, TEN

Delanie Walker has been the only consistent passing game target for the Titans, and this will not likely change against the Ravens.

Pittsburgh at New York (A)

Start: Ben Roethlisberger, QB, PIT

His rampage the last two weeks was so brutal, Amnesty International is considering a protest.  Think the Jets defense can contain him?

Sit: Jets Defense

No, I didn’t think so.

Atlanta at Tampa Bay

Start: Julio Jones, WR, ATL

This is Matt Ryan versus the second worst pass defense in the league.  Either White or Jones is going to have a big night.  Possibly both, but I would bet on Jones.

Sit: Falcons Defense and Buccaneers Defense

On the other hand, the Falcons pass defense is THIRD worst in the league.  This is not going to be a defensive struggle, that much is certain.

New York (N) at Seattle

Start: Doug Baldwin, WR, SEA

Wilson’s best target in the passing game looks to be the beneficiary on a grinding battle against the Giants.

Sit: Eli Manning, QB, NYG

While he has cut down the interceptions this year, Eli’s passing percentage is way too low, and the Seahawks defense in the hostile Pacific Northwest will only make that worse.
