Here is the final ballot for the 2011-2012 SEC Power Poll:
1. Alabama Crimson Tide
The Crimson Tide dominated the second time around with LSU and proved they are the best in the SEC.
2. LSU Tigers
The Tigers played great this past season and had all the ingredienents of a legitimate National Championship contending team. One game, one loss. That is what defines them.
3. Arkansas Razorbacks
Overshadowed by their SEC West “big brothers” yet they had a great season even if not really talked about.
4. South Carolina Gamecocks
Favorite description heard about USC’s season is this was the year that USC was not just a team in the SEC but played as a SEC team. Proved 2010 was not a fluke.
5. Georgia Bulldogs
Georgia football is blessed by their SEC schedule. All you really can say about them.
6. Auburn Tigers
Auburn looked like Auburn in their Chick-fli-a Bowl win. Does it mean good things for 2012?
7. Florida Gators
Tough year for the Gators as they had heightened expecations but underdelivered.
8. Mississippi St. Bulldogs
Still think Dan Mullen is creating a monster, just you wait….
9. Vanderbilt Commodores
Not your normal Vandy. That says a lot.
10. Kentucky Wildcats
Joker Philips has one last chance to salvage his job until then enjoy basketball.
11. Tennessee Volunteers
UT football is like a soap opera and we all want to see the next episode.
12. Mississippi Rebels
These Black Bears are ready for hibernation. Sleep it off as that was plain bad.
