ORACLE ARENA, OAKLAND, CA — This is a continuation of the halftime recap of the New York Knicks at the Golden State Warriors

The Warriors took a 62-46 lead into halftime.

3rd Quarter – Chef Curry, Late, Of Course

Warriors head coach Steve Kerr ran a play for the scoreless Harrison Barnes on the first play of the second half, getting Barnes to the line for two successful throws.

Klay Thompson added a three, then Draymond Green made his presence known on defense, as Sasha Vujecic had a fast break, gave Kristaps Porzingis a behind-the-back feed, and Green tapped out the ball cleanly with a hand on the ball.

Andrew Bogut eventually cashed that sequence in with an alley-oop fed by Stephen Curry:

Later, Langston Galloway missed a jumper, Green rebounded, and fired a two-hand touchdown chest pass to Curry.

Knicks head coach Kurt Rambis called a timeout as the Warriors took a 71-48 lead. Draymond stared at Marreese Speights, known for his football arm, while approaching the bench, and the two had a good laugh.

Out of the timeout, Curry hit another triple, and not long after that Rambis took another timeout after Arron Afflalo missed a three, Steph corralled the long rebound, and launched another touchdown, this time to Barnes, who got slapped on the wrist with no call by Derrick Williams, but nevertheless made the two-hand lay-in.

Golden State stretched out their lead to 76-48 with 6:59 remaining.

Barnes was feeling it, got a drop-step reverse layup, a floater, and Green added a tip-in of his own miss on a nice feed by Bogut (albeit Draymond’s tenth rebound) and Klay drilled a three as Bogut posted up Knicks point guard Langston Galloway on a switch, then re-fed Thompson outside as Green set a pick to free him up.

With 4:44 left, the Warriors were up 83-57.

The teams traded buckets, including a Leandro Barbosa drive and feed to Bogut up top, with Oracle yelling for him to shoot from a distance, since he’d made a three two nights before.

Bogut actually did hit a bucket from inside, a lefty hook, to give him 10 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 assists.

Jerian Grant then missed a triple, Shaun Livingston got the rebound, and zinged it to Barbosa for a layup with 1:54 to play.

With 1:02 remaining, Curry had the ball on the right arc with the shotclock running down, and launched from a near-45-degree angle on a pivot, and as the shotclock buzzer sounded, the ball banked through, giving the Warriors a 94-64 lead:

He wasn’t done, though, as Barbosa was in the corner, handed off to Steph, and Curry drilled another fade-away triple from the right corner with 25.9 seconds left, giving him 34 points in 28 minutes played, 12-for-20 from the field and 8 triples.

4th Quarter – Mop-Up

Kerr started the fourth quarter with Livingston, Barbosa, Brandon Rush, Barnes, and Speights.

Speights hit another triple, moving him to three shy of his entire career.

Eventually, Ian Clark, James McAdoo, and Anderson Varejao also got minutes as Curry, Green, and Bogut rested for the majority of the final frame.

McAdoo even got a corner three.

Klay finished with 19 points and the #SplashBrothers combined to go 13-for-22 from beyond the arc.

The Warriors (61-6) head to Dallas to face the Mavs in two nights.
