ORACLE ARENA, OAKLAND, CA — This is a continuation of the halftime recap of the San Antonio Spurs at the Golden State Warriors.
The Warriors took a 52-40 lead into halftime.
3rd Quarter – Flurry Inside The Arc
Stephen Curry got the Warriors off to a good start with this runner:

Then after Tim Duncan missed a layup, Curry turned a mis-dribble into a beautiful lefty dish to Draymond Green for the jam:

That gave Golden State a 60-45 lead and, with 9:26 remaining, San Antonio head coach Gregg Popovich took a timeout.
That didn’t help, as Curry followed his in-rhythm play with a right-to-left reverse layup…

…a left-side one-footed running banker over LaMarcus Aldridge…

…then triple after Tony Parker made the second of two free throws:

Popovich was forced to take another timeout after that dagger, and the Warriors stretched their lead out to 67-48 with 7:39 to play.
But Curry wasn’t done. He even got stopped inside, but still managed to pull off a beautiful play, this time to Andrew Bogut under the hoop:

The exciting play continued as Barnes got this jam on the right baseline, but Bogut was called for his fourth personal for holding David West:

By the time Manu Ginobili closed the quarter with a backdoor layup for the Spurs, the damage had already been done. The Warriors were in complete control as Curry tallied 15 points in the quarter, up 87-69.
4th Quarter – Team Effort
To start the 4th quarter, Manu turned the ball over then Livingston found Mo Speights for the jumper.
Mills then hit seven straight points for the Spurs but Livingston hit a jumper in between them and Barnes hit two free throws. West hit back to back shots to cut the lead to 13 but Harrison Barnes hit the corner three after receiving the pass from Klay.
Ginobili got a jumper to go, Speights and Leonard both connected on free throws then Draymond found Shaun Livingston who dunked it home. Curry then stole the ball and he found Draymond Green who splashed home the triple.
Klay missed back to back triples on the one possession then he fouled Aldridge who converted the and-one. Green got a lay-up after Barnes found him down low…

…then Leonard hit a three and Anderson hit a shot and the Warriors called timeout with 5:16 to go and the score 105-92 in the Warriors’ favour.
Curry and Barnes missed threes, Warriors forced a turnover then Curry took Aldridge off of the dribble and got to the free throw line where he made both. Klay fouled West who split a pair of free throws and the lead was 107-93 with 3:48 to go.
Spurs’ Green blocked an Iguodala shot, Parker missed a reverse then Klay Thompson got into the lane where he got the friendly roll. Popovich called timeout with 3:04 to go in the game and the Warriors up by 16.
Parker and Leonard checked out, Anderson hit a shot then Stephen Curry dribbled behind his back and hit the tough three pointer.

Anderson, Barnes, Ginobili and Thompson all missed shots and then Anderson split a pair of free throws. The bench unit then checked in with 1:14 to go and the score 112-96 in the Warriors’ favour.
Martin and Speights missed threes, West got a lay-up to go, Barbosa turned it over and Martin got an and-one reverse to go. The Warriors then dribbled the clock out to secure their 70th win of the season and in the process they clinched the 1st seed in the West.
FINAL: Warriors (70-9) 112-101
Barnes with 21 points & 8 rebounds, Green finished with 18-6-7, Curry had 27-5-9, Klay had 14, Bogut had 6-11 and 2 blocks.
