According to Marc Stein, Mark Jackson, Vinny Del Negro and Sam Mitchell are the first three candidates scheduled to interview for the Sacramento Kings’ vacant coaching position.
Earlier, Adrian Wojnarowski reported that the Clippers had granted the Kings permission to meet up with Woodson in the near future.
Like we stated earlier, Vlade Divac will bring in many candidates and pick their brains apart. He stated that when he addressed the media after firing George Karl. He wants to be 100 percent sure on a coach before he hires someone.
Jackson built the foundation in Golden State, so we know he would command enough respect from his players. Mitchell did a solid job in developing the young exciting talents in Minnesota. Del Negro at this point is a question mark but it can’t hurt seeing what he has to offer.
Again, we will hear many coaches this week talk to the Kings about the position. So stay tuned Kings fans. The fun is barley about to begin.
