I got it pretty close, actually. Much closer than I was aiming to.
Texas are, of course, the #1 team in the land. They got 55 of the 60 first-place votes. Penn State, in second place, got three, and Stanford, in third, got the other two. That part was pretty predictable.
A few teams are higher than I had in my 'vote' (Oregon, BYU) a few are lower than I had (Wichita State, Creighton, Florida State) but as it happened I named 23 of the 25 teams in the actual poll. I considered Dayton and Ohio State, at numbers 22 and 23 respectively, but I passed on naming them for whatever reason. In their places I had Notre Dame and Arizona. The Irish are in the 'also receiving votes' section, while the Wildcats, evidently my biggest reach, are not. But like I said yesterday, I wasn't trying to predict the poll, merely to give my own opinions.
