The Oakland Raiders return home on Sunday to face the Miami Dolphins after being thoroughly whipped by the Pittsburgh Steelers. This will be a chance for them to have their second consecutive sell out after a string of 11 straight home blackouts.

The odds seem against a second consecutive sellout however. Raider fans are not happy with the performance their team put up in Pittsburgh and there has been a sense of general discontent over Head Coach Tom Cable’s decision to start Jason Campbell against the ‘Fins. It is also a holiday weekend, so perhaps people’s attention will be turned away from football.

Despite that loss, the Raiders are still right in the thick of the race for the AFC West and are facing a very beatable team in the Tyler Thigpen led Dolphins. The Dolphins don’t have nearly the strength against the run that the Steelers did.

What the Raiders truly need is their 12th man to show up and be a factor. As it stands, the Raiders are 4-1 inside their own building. However, with the Raiders in the thick of the playoff chase, they need the electric atmosphere that takes over when the place is packed.

It is critical for the Raiders to get the win on Sunday and get their record back over the .500 mark. The Chargers are nipping at their heels and the Chiefs are slightly ahead. Its going to be a scramble to the end, and this game will go a long way towards getting on the right track.

Give the Raiders the boost they need as they head into the home stretch of the season. Show up on Sunday and turn the Coliseum black.

DarkSideTickets has tickets for Sunday’s game as low as $36 for the 300s, $71 for the 200s, $78 for the 100s, or if club seats are more appealing they start at $175.
