FIVB Beach Volleyball World Championships, Day Four

So…no real report today. There was…an incident. [/drmarvincandle] It's not really important (nor all that interesting) but it did keep me "out of the game" today.

So, here's someting I find a little distasteful — a rote rundown of results. Gotta have it on the record for tomorrow, for which I should be around.

Final day of men's pool play:

Pool A

#1 Fijalek/Prudel (POL) d. #24 Kapa/McHugh (AUS) (21-13, 19-21, 15-10)

#2 Alison/Emanuel (BRA) d. #23 Plavins/Peda (LAT) (21-17, 21-11)
#47 Lech/Wojtasik (POL) d. #26 Cecchini/Ingrosso (ITA) via forfeit. Unfortunate for Paolo Ingrosso, as he was supposed to play with his brother Matteo, but Matteo pulled out injured before the event. Same apparently happened to Matteo Cecchini. Just bad luck I suppose.
