“The PFF 101” is a rating of the top 101 players in the NFL for the 2013 season. This was posted about a month ago and I typically reveal the Saints players listed every offseason so my apologies for being so late with this. It evaluates a player’s performance over the course of that one season. So don’t freak out if Drew Brees is lower than a quaterback you consider worse than him, it’s merely evaluating 16 games of performance (or in some cases less). Interesting to note, maybe not that surprisingly, that J. J. Watt is the top player for 2013. The following Saints players were listed:
13. Jimmy Graham
40. Cameron Jordan
49. Keenan Lewis
60. Drew Brees
101. Marques Colston
No real surprises here, although I would have rated Brees as having a better overall season than Lewis. I was surprised Lewis was that high and Brees was that low. I was also a bit surprised to see Colston on the list, even as the last at 101. That’s a testament to those five players, though, who all clearly had top 101 in the NFL type seasons.
