Just received this press release that the NHL has once again set a ratings record in a local market. And this time, it’s in a market that has plenty of hockey tradition. Comcast SportsNet Philadelphia tells us that Game 6 of Bruins-Flyers last night was the most watched NHL game in the channel’s history. We’re talking a 10.1 rating with a viewership of 300,000 people last night and is rather astounding. With Game 7 on Friday, imagine what the numbers could be especially if it’s a close game. Take a look at the Comcast SportsNet Philadelphia press release.
