Flyers Fan Faces Trial for Attack

-4

ESPN NY reports that Dennis Veteri, the man accused of beating two Rangers fans outside Geno’s Steaks after the NHL Winter Classic in Philadelphia will be tried on assault charges.

One victim was Neal Auricchio, an off-duty policeman and Purple Heart recipient from Woodbridge, N.J., who needed surgery to repair a fractured left orbital bone he received during the attack.

According to the Philly.com, Auricchio along with the other victim Michael Janocko spoke with the judge about the attack yesterday.

Veteri’s attorney has said the case is a fistfight that’s being blown out of proportion.

…looks like Veteri’s lawyer is a scumbag also.

…not sure how realistic it is, but hope this guy gets some legit time in jail. Society is much better off without people like this idiot running around.
