As if the news could not get any worse for Philadelphia Flyers on the injury front it did on Friday evening. They found out that both defensemen Andrej Meszaros and Braydon Coburn are out for the rest of the season.

Andrej Meszaros has had an injury ridden season and the injury to end his season happened on Tuesday night when the Flyers loss 5-2 to the New York Rangers. In that game, he had got a torn rotator cuff and will get surgery on it on April 2nd. Since Meszaros has been injured for most of the season, he has only played in 11 games and only has two assists.

Now in terms of Braydon Coburn, he will be out indefinitely with a separated left shoulder. Coburn sustained this injury on Thursday night when the Flyers loss 4-3 to the New York Islanders. He has not been playing well this season either just like the rest of the team. In 33 games this season, Braydon Coburn only has one goal, four assists, and a minus -10 rating.

Finally, in other Flyers injury news, defenseman Nicklas Grossman who has missed the last three games is day-to-day with an upper body injury and Danny Briere is still out with a concussion.
