The Flyers future looks brighter by the day. Ivan Provorov, the Flyers first round pick in 2015, was named the Western Hockey League(WHL) Defenceman of the Year. The 19 year old Russian played in 62 games for the Brandon Wheat Kings, compiling 73 points(21 goals, 52 assists). Provorov, a defenseman, led the league in plus/minus with an outstanding +64.

After back to back tremendous seasons in the WHL, Ivan Provorov has a excellent chance of breaking camp with Philadelphia in 2016-2017.
