FOE FODDER - ALDS EDITION: A Game By Game Prediction

Game 1: College teammates Jered Weaver and Jason Vargas face off against each other in the post-season for the first time. Weaver will outshine his fat-faced former teammate with a dominant 6+ innings.
For Angels’ super-human, superstar, king of the baseball universe, soon to be named MVP Mike Trout, it will be his first post-season game. Anticipate a glorious October initiation as Trout collects multiple homeruns.
For the Angels’ other big bat, expect his return to Fall baseball to bring out vintage Albert Pujols – a focused machine who hits to all fields and spits on pitchers’ pitches.
Angels take an early series lead behind Trout, Pujols and Weaver  with a final score of 9-2.
Game 2: Matt Shoemaker’s ridiculous beard returns to the mound. Fortunately for Angels fans his not-so-ridiculous right arm will accompany it. He’ll face off against almost-goat Yordano Ventura, who gave up an absolutely demolished serving of bomb sauce to Oakland’s Brandon Moss on Tuesday night.
While Angels fans feel like their team caught a break with Shoemaker returning from a mild strain of his oblique, expectations should be conservative. I wouldn’t expect something magical like a complete game shutout.
Calhoun and Hamilton lead the offense with homeruns and Shoemaker’s 5 solid innings hold up. Angels take game two, 5-3.
Game 3: Cory Rasmus enters the game after CJ Wilson plunks Alcides Escobar with his first pitch. Rasmus mows them down in 4 innings of relief, followed by 5 shutout innings from the rest of the bullpen.
The Angels sweep the Royals, winning game three, 1-0 on a Hank Conger homerun.
