The Celtics put together this little “Day In The Life…” video that lets you behind the scenes of the Las Vegas Summer League with Marcus Smart. The highlights…
- He seemed to like singing “Hey Mickey” to Jordan Mickey. This is impressive because the song came out in 1982 and Marcus Smart was born in 1994.
- Brad Stevens jogging back to the team hotel (2:25 mark) is hilarious. Smart’s “Oh, he’ll do that. I’m not doing that” and “He’s gonna die before he gets to the Motel 6 with no water.” are great lines. Bear in mind, it’s like 106 in Vegas during July, and Brad’s out there running at high noon.
- Smart was really involved, giving guys instructions on how to defend the pick and roll and taking part in the coaching during the game he sat out against Philly.
