For an unknown reason, maybe interest levels?, the Cincinnati Bearcats are delaying the season opener against Austin Peay for 2 days. The game was to be played on Thursday, September 1, and is now slated for Saturday, September 3. The time and TV have not been announced. My mind went straight to slow ticket sales as the reason for the delay. I can’t think of any other reason. Paul Dehner guessed the third season opener of Community, but that wouldn’t start until after Labor Day. The Reds play a day game on the 1st, which would have no difference to UC one would assume. I asked a player what he thought of the game being switched, and he didn’t care. Hard hitting journalism.
