You want to know what else is sad? The Western Conference will be stacked with talent, again, next year—and The Timberwolves will, once again, be somewhere in the 9th or 10th seed.
Mm…Geez! At this point, who deserves the ax for our team record that is starting to feel like a dumpster fire as we head into the All-Star break?
Not Thibs.
(Not anymore)
Not Scott Layden.
He’s on his way out, I think, once the offseason rolls around. They both knew, in their heart of hearts, that once Glen Taylor took over the driver’s seat, their jig is up.
It’s over.
The season’s over.
Let me put it more eloquently: For The Timberwolves, by virtue of their recent loss to the Pelicans—see it again below—this season is a lost season.
