Former All-Star Wanted by Authorities

During his big league career, Danny Tartabull had plenty of success.  And, because of it…dude made some cash in the process.

Unfortunately, the former All-Star (who, according to Baseball-Reference, made close to $33 million during his career) failed to support his two sons.  Tartabull is now Los Angeles County's deadbeatiest of deadbeat dads.

Oops.

So, how'd we get here?  Initially, Tartabull pleaded no-contest to an earlier charge of being an asshole.  Then, apparently, he didn't meet the terms of his probation and, ultimately, failed to surrender for a 180-day jail sentence. 

Add that up and there's been a warrant out for the former outfielder's arrest for more than a year.
