A month after Coach Darrin Horn made it known that Ramon Galloway would not be returning to the Gamecocks basketball program, Galloway has chosen to finish out his collegiate career back home to be a Explorer. He will be transferring to La Salle University according to Philly.com.
The 6-2 shooting guard will have to sit out a year at LaSalle and will be eligible for the start of the 2012-13 season. In LaSalle, he will be returning to Philadelphia where he grew up before heading south to Palm Beach Gardens, Florida to finish out high school.
In 61 career games over two seasons as a Gamecock, he averaged 9.3 points and last season he was the team’s third-leading scorer with 10.7 points a game.
Good luck Ramon.
