Former Spur Hairston reaches deal with Milan

MHAs was reported here at Project Spurs at the beginning of the month, former San Antonio Spurs guard Malik Hairston was in discussions to sign with Italian club AJ Milano.

Confirmation has come out that Hairston will sign a deal with the Italian ball club.

Emporio Armani Milan announced they have reached an agreement with the player Malik Hairston.

After spending part of 2008-2010 with the Spurs and Austin Toros, Hairston went on to play in Italy in 2008 after being released by the Spurs in 2010.

He just finished with the Italian ball club Montepaschi Siena and will now be playing with Milan.

Milano’s head coach Scariolo had this to say about signing Hairston.

“Malik Hairston has shown last year to be a complete player and I am convinced that still has significant room for improvement. It can either start the games lineup or exit from the bench, has great explosiveness and help the team effectively in defense. We evaluated very positively and would prefer our offering compared to other more lucrative options and very prestigious, as well as his knowledge of the Italian championship “
