Fort Worth lightweight prospect Miguel Buendia will co-headline the Triple A Promotions boxing card taking place in Laredo, TX this Friday night.  His opponent for the evening will be hometown favorite Eddie Ramirez.

Buendia (3-1, 1 KO) is considered by many here in North Texas to be one of the most entertaining fighters to watch.  The two-time Fort Worth Golden Glove champion’s all-action aggressiveness and penchant for slugging it out has endeared him to man a fight fan in the DFW.  In his last fight, a four-round lopsided victory over Gerardo Alarcon this past May, Buendia displayed why many consider him a force to be reckoned with on the local scene.

Fight fans here in DFW may remember Buendia’s opponent, Ramirez (5-3-1, 2 KOs), from his scintillating war with Arthur Trevino back on the Sundance Square card this past May.  Ramirez won the bloody back-and-forth battle and clearly proved he has the heart of a lion.

Buendia – Ramirez has fireworks written all over it, too bad this intriguing match-up is taking place 450 miles south of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.
