Get ready boxing fans, QuikTrip Park in Grand Prairie, Texas, home of the Grand Prairie Airhogs Baseball Club will be bringing a great night of professional boxing to the Dallas/Fort Worth area. It is brought to you by CNS Promotions and Tecate beer. The main event will be between undefeated Abie Han (14-0, 10KO’s), from El Paso Texas against the rough and tough Eloy Suarez (11-12-1, 5KO’s) from San Antonio.
The fight is scheduled to go eight full rounds, so be ready to see fists flying. This will be Han’s second time he has stepped into the ring to go eight rounds, and the last time he went eight rounds, he knocked out Jose Aldelaydo Gonzalez (13-7-1). His last two fights, which were six rounders, were won by unanimous decision to keep his undefeated record going. Although Suarez has lost a few fights by unanimous decisions, he went eight tough rounds with Brian Vera (19-5,12KO’s) back in June of this year, out in Frisco, Texas. Suarez comes to fight and he puts alot of pressure on his opponents, just as he did when he fought Vera. He gave Vera all he could handle.
The fight card will also include the undefeated Ray Ximenez (4-0) from Pleasant Grove, a suburb of Dallas, Texas. This young and exciting fighter is coming into the ring after winning a spectacular second round knockout against Robert Ledesma from San Antonio, Texas. Ximenez is a rising star from Dallas and with his potential he will be someone to watch on Friday night and in the future.
In addition to Ximenez, Hector Vasquez (5-1) of Dallas, Texas will be fighting on the card and is coming into the ring with four wins and one by way of knockout. Nestor Rosas (10-1) of Fort Worth will also be on the card, including Jose Rodriguez (1-0) against yet to be announced fighters.
There will be a fireworks show in honor of Mexican Independence Day following the show.
