No Cup of Joe today. Let’s get right to the business…
Today is the day the Freeh report is officially released for the first time to the public. It hopefully will answer a number of questions and put an end to some speculations, for better or worse. Deadspin unearthed what appears to be prep notes for today’s press conference, in which scripted responses are ready to roll. According to the prepared responses the Freeh Report will confirm the firings of President Graham Spanier and coach Joe Paterno were justified (now, what are the findings?), and the Board of Trustees is charged with fostering an environment in which proper responses were demanded.
