“Sometimes the threat of the blitzers is as effective as the blitz itself,” he said. “Sometimes when you bring the blitz, they can’t double.”
I mentioned how fast he has started with four sacks, the first time he’s started a season with sacks in three consecutive games. Was this as good a start as he’s had?
“Yeah, I was saying that, it’s kind of funny,” he said. “Great start, alright, starting too fast, got to get something to slow you down. Things happen. But like I said, I don’t know how long it’s going to be. I’m just going to take it day by day, when I wake up, and see what happens. Hopefully, I’m fine.”
