Back on June 10th, 2009, I published the first post here on Frozen Notes. It wasn’t an introduction or even an explanation of what the site was all about. It was titled a “Cause for Optimism” and it looked at all of the things Blues fans could look forward to in the 2009-10 season. In particular, it begged for the Blues to avoid another golf cart injury. In hindsight, it wasn’t a very good article, but most writers probably feel that way when they look back at their work from seven years ago.
If you’ve followed the site on any kind of regular basis over the past seven years, you’ve seen plenty of changes and iterations. Frozen Notes went from being a member of a network (RIP Fanball) to being an independent blog before joining up with a different network (Bloguin).
Some of those changes were big while others may have not even been noticed. Regardless, change is coming once again and it should be a new and exciting time on this site. Frozen Notes isn’t going anywhere, but this space will take on a new look and feel in the near future. More details will be announced on that in good time, but hopefully the end result is a positive move which ensures not only a great experience for readers, but also ensures the longevity of the space.
