Malik Beasley is the Florida State Basketball Player of the Week for the week of November 16th through the 22nd after averaging 19 points over three games while shooting 55 percent from the floor.
Beasley followed up a 21-point effort in a 98-79 victory over Jacksonville on Tuesday with a career-high 25 points in an 82-77 loss to Hofstra in the U.S. Virgin Islands on Friday. In Saturday’s 83-67 win over DePaul, Beasley scored 11 points.
In addition to averaging 19 points this week, Beasley averaged 4.7 rebounds and a steal. Beasley also shot 9-for-17 from beyond the 3-point line and was named ACC Freshman of the Week.
Beasley and the Seminoles will conclude a 3-game stretch in the Virgin Islands against Ohio on Monday before taking on Iowa in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge on December 2nd.
