Two Seminoles Earn Weekly Honors
Florida State wide receiver Kermit Whitfield and linebacker Jacob Pugh were each honored this week by the ACC. Whitfield was named ACC Receiver of the Week and Pugh was named the conference’s Linebacker of the Week.

Whitfield finished with a career-high nine catches for 172 yards and a 70-yard touchdown reception that put the Seminoles ahead for good in Saturday’s 41-21 win over Louisville. Pugh finished with seven total tackles in Saturday’s FSU victory, including six solo stops and a pair of sacks.
FSU and Syracuse to Kick Off at Noon
The October 31st contest between Florida State and Syracuse at Doak Campbell Stadium will kick off at 12:00 P.M. eastern time, the ACC announced Monday. The game will air on ABC.
