Following a 41-21 victory over Louisville in Tallahassee on Saturday, Florida State now sits at No. 9 in each of the two human polls. The Seminoles moved up two spots from 11th in the AP Poll, but dropped a spot from eighth in the Amway Coaches Poll.

Ohio State and Baylor were No. 1 and No. 2 in each of the two polls. Utah was third in the AP Poll, followed by TCU. In the Coaches Poll, TCU was third and Michigan State was fourth after an improbable win over Michigan. LSU and Clemson were fifth and sixth in each of the polls.

Michigan State was seventh in the AP Poll while Utah was No. 7 in the Coaches Poll. Alabama was the highest ranked 1-loss team, coming in at eighth in each poll just ahead of FSU. Stanford came in 10th in the AP Poll while Notre Dame occupied that spot in the Coaches Poll.

FSU and Clemson are each in the top 10, but there are now four ACC teams ranked in the AP Poll. Duke is No. 23 and Pittsburgh rounds out the poll at No. 25. Only the SEC has more teams ranked in the AP Poll. Duke is No. 21 in the Coaches Poll while Pittsburgh is not ranked.

Florida State will look to improve to 7-0 for a third straight season as it visits Georgia Tech on Saturday. Kickoff was set for 7:00 P.M. eastern time on ESPN2.
