The 2015 schedule was released on Thursday for Florida State, the ACC’s three-time defending champions. Florida State finished 13-1 in 2014 and ranked in the top 10 nationally for a third straight season. For a second straight season, FSU will play seven home games, but in 2015, the Seminoles will have five true road games.
The Seminoles will begin the year at home with contests against Texas State and South Florida on September 5th and 12th. Florida State will play its first regular season Friday night game since 2004 when Hurricane Frances postponed the Seminoles’ season-opener against Miami, on September 18th as FSU opens ACC play against Boston College.
After an open date, Florida State kicks off the month of October at Wake Forest on the 3rd. The Seminoles then play back-to-back home games against rival Miami and Louisville on the 10th and 17th. Florida State had to rally in the fourth quarter to beat each of those teams in 2014.

Florida State travels to face Georgia Tech on October 24th in a rematch of the 2014 ACC Championship before hosting Syracuse on Halloween.
Florida State visits Clemson on November 7th. The winner of that annual contest has gone on to win the ACC in each of the last four seasons. FSU defeated Clemson 51-14 in its last trip to Death Valley. The 51 points was the most ever scored there by a Clemson opponent.
Florida State concludes ACC play with homecoming in Tallahassee against N.C. State on November 14th. Senior Day will be the following week as the Seminoles host Chattanooga in their final home game on November 21st.
As usual, the Seminoles will close the regular season against rival Florida. The teams will meet in Gainesville on November 28th. FSU looks to run its winning streak at the Swamp to three.
Should Florida State be fortunate enough to win the ACC Atlantic for a fifth time in six years, the ACC Championship will be held in Charlotte on December 5th.
