Gaborik Scores But Slovaks Lose (Updated)

Newyorkrangers.com reports that despite the loss, Slovakia will advance to the qualification round.

Marian Gaborik scored his first goal in the World Hockey Championships as Slovakia lost to Russia 4-3 today. Slovakia is now 1-2-0 in the tournament.

Gaborik had five shots in 16:37 of ice time.
