The Big Five will be represented very well in the 2013 Portsmouth Invitational Tournament as La Salle’s Ramon Galloway, Temple’s Khalif Wyatt, and Villanova’s Mouphtaou Yarou have been selected and will be playing in it. If you don’t know about the Portsmouth Invitational Tournament it is suppose to help college seniors showcase their talents in front of NBA and European scouts. This tournament helps players break into the second round or the first round of the NBA Draft as well.

Ramon Galloway, Khalif Wyatt, and Mouphtaou Yarou should all benefit from this tournament as it starts on Wednesday, April 10th. Ramon Galloway and Mouphataou Yarou also competed in the NABC Reese’s College All-Star Game for seniors yesterday. Galloway and Yarou both played for the West All-stars as they would lose 87-81 to the East All-stars. Ramon Galloway would go 0 for 6 from the field and 0 for 4 from the three point line. Yarou, on the other hand would score four points and grab 10 rebounds.

The Portsmouth Invitational Tournament is just the next step for these three players as they pursuit their dream to play in the NBA. Here at TSL we will keep on following them because after this is the NBA combine and individual team workouts before the NBA Draft happens in June.
