It's only the middle of December, but the Nets are already finishing up their first season series of the year, which happens to be with the Los Angeles Clippers. Of course, LA is coached by Doc Rivers, who led the Celtics–with current Nets Paul Pierce, Kevin Garnett, and Jason Terry–for ten seasons and a NBA Championship in 2008.
Brooklyn and the Clippers met up back on November 16th when a badly-injured Nets team put up a solid effort against Doc Rivers' squad at Staples Center, losing 110-103.
Probable Lineups
LAC- Chris Paul (PG), Willie Green (SG), Jared Dudley (SF), Blake Griffin (PF), DeAndre Jordan (C)
BKN- Deron Williams (PG), Joe Johnson (SG), Alan Anderson (SF), Kevin Garnett (PF), Brook Lopez (C)
Final Thoughts
Now, the Nets are healthy and have their entire roster of talent–sans Jason Terry and Andrei Kirilenko–ready to go against one of the most explosive teams in recent NBA history. A big matchup to watch is the one between Deron Williams and Chris Paul, two point guards who were picked right after each other in the 2005 Draft.
