Game 23 Preview: Brooklyn Nets (8-14) at Detroit Pistons (10-13)
The Nets were able to (somewhat) control star point guard Chris Paul of the Clippers last night. Will they be able to do the same to Detroit's Brandon Jennings?

When: 7:30 PM; Friday, December 13th, 2013

Where: The Palace at Auburn Hills; Auburn Hils, MI

TV: YES Network

The Nets stunned the basketball world by dominating (for three quarters, at least) the Los Angeles Clippers on TNT at the Barclays Center.

After having the same done to himself by Chris Paul, Deron Williams crossed up the Clippers' point guard–nearly to the point on ankle-breaking–at least three times in the game, indicating how he flat-out won the Battle of 2005 NBA Draft Franchise Points.

D-Will was playing at an All-Star level, Joe Johnson was playing at an All-Star level, Brook Lopez was playing at an All-Star level, and even Andray Blatche was playing at an All-Star level. Hey, even Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett showed the hustle and passion they won a championship with in Boston! Finally, Brooklyn played like a contender and it garnered them an incredible win.

Probable Lineups

BKN- Deron Williams (PG), Joe Johnson (SG), Alan Anderson (SF), Kevin Garnett (PF), Andray Blatche (C)

DET- Brandon Jennings (PG), Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (SG), Josh Smith (SF), Greg Monroe (PF), Andre Drummond (C)

Final Thoughts

Can the Nets win their 4th-straight? It won't be easy against an athletic squad like the Pistons, but with how Brooklyn has been playing recently, it's a possibility.
