Game 27 Preview: Indiana Pacers (22-5) at Brooklyn Nets (9-17)
Jason Terry returns tonight from a knee injury that has caused him to miss all of December. Without Brook Lopez, the Nets could use some big shots from Jet.

When: 7:30 PM; Monday, December 23rd, 2013

Where: Barclays Center; Brooklyn, NY

TV: YES Network

Tonight, against one of the NBA's best teams (and one of the best centers–Roy Hibbert), the Brooklyn Nets begin life without Brook Lopez, who on Saturday was revealed to have suffered a broken foot which requires him to miss the rest of the season. From now in this 2013-14 campaign, Jason Kidd's Nets will be without their dominant interior presence as they attempt to get back to .500 and hopefully make the playoffs.

Oh yeah, and to demonstrate the challenge the Nets face in this evening's game, let's look at how the seasons of the Pacers and Nets have turned out. Indiana won its first nine games, and is now 17 games over .500. Brooklyn, conversely, only has nine wins through 26 games. Yep.

Probable Lineups

IND- George Hill (PG), Lance Stephenson (SG), Paul George (SF), David West (PF), Roy Hibbert (C)

BKN- Deron Williams (PG), Joe Johnson (SG), Alan Anderson (SF), Mirza Teletovic (PF), Kevin Garnett (C)

Final Thoughts

May God bless this team, the Nets that is.
