Game 38 Preview: Brooklyn Nets (15-22) at Atlanta Hawks (20-18)
Looks like Kevin Garnett is pretty comfortable in England, as he takes a picture with two of Chelsea FC's top players

When: 3:00 PM EST; Thursday, January 16th, 2014

Where: O2 Arena; London, England

TV: YES Network/NBA TV

The Nets haven't played since Saturday, in a loss to the Raptors, and the Hawks since Sunday in a win over the Grizzlies. Clearly, after almost a week off, but teams are itching at getting the chance to step back on the court. But no, they won't be playing Brooklyn or Atlanta: They'll be in London.

The teams headed over the English Channel, five hours into the future, earlier this week and will do battle in the early afternoon (3:00 pm Eastern Standard Time) later today, which corresponds to an 8:00 pm London time tip-off. For us in the United States, we get basketball right as we get home from school or work. What could be better?

Probable Lineups

BKN- Shaun Livingston (PG), Alan Anderson (SG), Joe Johnson (SF), Paul Pierce (PF), Kevin Garnett (C)

ATL- Jeff Teague (PG), Lou Williams (SG), Kyle Korver (SF), Paul Millsap (PF), Pero Antic (C)

Final Thoughts

With these novelty games played outside of North America, the team that wins isn't always the one that deserves to. What will happen this afternoon? Who knows.
