MStLouis7 Martin St. Louis had a hat trick and led the Tampa Bay Lightning to a 5-2 victory over the Toronto Maple Leafs. The hat trick was the first recorded all season by a Lightning player.

The win snapped the Lightning’s season worst, six game losing streak.

St. Louis now has 16 goals and leads the NHL scoring race with 58 points, two more than teammate Steven Stamkos and Penguins forward Sidney Crosby. (Photo/Susan Ferlita)

Stamkos scored his 29th goal of the season but hr is still two behind Alex Ovechkin in the race for the Richard Trophy.

Bolts rookie defenseman Radko Gudas scored his second NHL  goal on a blistering shot that beat Toronto goalie James Reimer.

Goalie Ben Bishop stopped 26 shots to preserve the win.
