All three of these guys–and Kawhi Leonard and Boris Diaw–are out for the Spurs tonight. Now it's a must-win for the Nets. |

Where: Barclays Center; Brooklyn, NY
TV: YES Network/TNT
The Spurs won in double overtime over the Washington Wizards last night in D.C while the Nets haven't played since their win over the Philadelphia 76ers on Monday. In that win for San Antonio, Tim Duncan scored 31 points but played 40 minutes, so he'll sit out tonight's Nets-Spurs, which is slowly turning into a snoozefest even before tip off. Why, you ask? Because Tony Parker (back, hurt yesterday), Manu Ginobili (hamstring), Kawhi Leonard (hand), and Boris Diaw (food poisoning) all won't suit up for sneaky Gregg Popovich's squad this evening.
Instead, Long Island native Danny Green starts at small forward, Tiago Splitter is at center, and reserves fill in the rest of the starting spots. Meanwhile, Andray Blatche, Andrei Kirilenko, and Joe Johnson–who was just picked to be in the 3-point shooting contest over All-Star break–all return for the Nets from their respective injuries.
Probable Lineups
SAS- Nando de Colo (PG), Cory Joseph (SG), Danny Green (SF), Marco Belinelli (PF), Tiago Splitter (C)
BKN- Deron Williams (PG), Shaun Livingston (SG), Joe Johnson (SF), Paul Pierce (PF), Kevin Garnett (C)
Final Thoughts
It's still the Spurs and all, but with this level of injury, Brooklyn should win this game going away. A loss would simply be inexcusable.
