The heart and soul of the Lightning franchise made hockey history last night , despite the Panthers beating the Bolts 5-3 in the season finale.

Teammate Steven Stamkos had an assist and finished second to St. Louis in the scoring race.
Ryan Malone and Matt Carle also had goals for Tampa Bay.
Goalie Anders Lindback had 27 saves.
The Lightning finished with an 18-26-4 record and 40 points, good for 28th in the 30-team NHL. The worst it can pick in the June draft is fourth.
