Kevin Garnett (back spasms) is out for tonight's road trip finale in Milwaukee |
When: 8:30 PM EST; Saturday, March 1st, 2014
Where: BMO Harris Bradley Center; Milwaukee, WI
TV: YES Network
In their last two games, the Nets have been blown out (by Portland by 44 points) and have blown out another team (Denver, by 23). That 67-point swing between a loss and win of a back-to-back is the 3rd-largest in NBA history and largest in Nets history. Fair to say the two games were pretty different from one another.
Tonight, though, the Nets end their extended seven-game mostly Western Conference road trip against the NBA's worst team, the lowly and hapless Milwaukee Bucks. If they win, the Nets will have gone 4-3 on the trip, which, with all things considered, is pretty respectable. If they lose though, they'll be at 3-4 on the seven-game swing, which would be a massive disappointment considering how totally mediocre Milwaukee is this year.
Probable Lineups
BKN- Deron Williams (PG), Shaun Livingston (SG), Joe Johnson (SF), Paul Pierce (PF), Mason Plumlee (C)
MIL- Brandon Knight (PG), Nate Wolters (SG), Khris Middleton (SF), Ersan Ilyasova (PF), Zaza Pachulia (C)
Final Thoughts
KG might not be available for this one, but Brooklyn simply cannot lose this game and has to win and sweep the season series from the Bucks. A loss against an 11-win team would be horrible, and would really damage this team's morale as they head into a meeting with the Bulls on Monday at Barclays.
