Three things to ponder
1. Another full effort
The Kings played a consistent four quarters of basketball in their Friday win versus the Hornets, which they’ll need to duplicate today. When Sacramento lost in Washington on March 14, the Wizards shot 61 percent and 9-of-14 from downtown in the second half, while the Kings made 28.6 percent from the floor and lost 11 turnovers.
2. Great Wall of Washington
Last time out, John Wall abused the Kings with a 31-point, 12-assist performance. The All-Star attacked the rim and got to the charity stripe ten times, in addition to shooting 4-of-5 from deep. Ray McCallum and Andre Miller will be challenged to slow Wall and must attack him on the other end.
3. Ramon’s return
Ramon Sessions already enjoyed his revenge, but the Ex-King will return to Sleep Train Arena for the first time since his February 19 trade for Miller. After the guard averaged 5.4 points on 34.4 percent shooting, 2.7 assists and 1.4 turnovers in 36 appearances with the Kings, the crowd’s reaction to his name should be interesting.
