Game 7 Preview: Bruins vs. Leafs

Game 7 Preview: Bruins vs. Leafs
If you’re anything like me, you’ve been shaking your head since last Tuesday and in dire need of seeing something from the Bruins to keep from throwing yourself, or someone else, off the Tobin.  But that was last game, time to look forward, but if you’re a masochist and wish to relive that awful game, check out the recap,  Grinding Gears, and Cam Ward’s bitchfest.

Tonight the Bruins have their first divisional match up, and we’re facing the 1st place team in the division.  No, that wasn’t a typo, the Maple Leafs are in first place, right behind *sigh* Buffalo.  Fan-freakin-tastic!  What’s next, Dallas and Colorado winning their divisions?? Oh wait…

It’s still early, but I never thought we’d fall five point behind Toronto in the standings.  I guess that’s bound to happen when you’re shooting blanks and scoring less than a shirtless fat guy on South Beach.

Boston has done well against Toronto in the past few years, and is usually able to shut down Kessel pretty effectively, which may or may not have to do with the screams from the crowd every time he goes near the puck.

Seriously, it never gets old, especially the “thank you Kessel” chants.  Though, he is leading the league in points and goals, so I guess it’s a little hard to mock him…

Meh, screw it.

It’ll be nice to see the Bruins get their game back against a rival team.  Oh, and to anyone going to the game, try not to be a total cockstain and avoid throwing your half drank Captain and Cokes on the ice? Kthx

Projected Roster:

Brad Marchand-Patrice Bergeron-Nathan Horton
Milan Lucic-Chris Kelly-Tyler Seguin
Jordan Caron-David Krejci-Rich Peverley
Daniel Paille-Gregory Campbell-Shawn Thornton

Zdeno Chara-Johnny Boychuk
Dennis Seidenberg-Joe Corvo
Andrew Ference-Steven Kampfer

Tim Thomas
Tuukka Rask
Julien is hoping that a line shake up will give the Bruins as kick in the ass and so are we.  Looks like Krejci coming back is a strong possibility, if he doesn’t then Peverley will most likely get shifted to Center between Caron and Pouliot.  Bartkowski finally got send back down to Providence, which means Kampfer is back.
